Brussel sprout
A member of the Brassica family which includes broccoli and cabbage, the Brussel sprout is an edible, green, winter bud that looks like a miniature cabbage and grows in bunches of 20-40. It is usually boiled or steamed, and is crisp, dense and slightly sweet.
