Baklava
A Greek, Middle Eastern and Armenian sweet made from layers of phyllo pastry interspersed with chopped nuts, ground almonds, breadcrumbs, sugar, spices and butter, and soaked in sugar syrup or honey. It is baked, cooled and cut into squares or diamonds.
