Bath salts -  the happy bath

3 tablespoons bran
2 tablespoons myrtle
2 tablespoons rosemary
2 tablespoons lemon leafs and flowers
2 tablespoons geranium
2 tablespoons labiatae (melissohorto)
Petals of 2 roses

We put all of the ingredients in a tamis. We fill the bathtub with hot water, and add the tamis with the bubble bath.

Revitalizes, refreshes, stimulates, softens wrinkles, and enlivens.

Antistress/calming tea

1 cup of passiflora tea
1 cup of tilio
1 cup of valeriana
1 tablespoon labiatae (melissohorto)

We mix all of the herbs together and save them in a glass jar, so that we can always have the mixture ready. We use one tablespoon of the mixture daily in two cups of hot water and let it stand for ten minutes, then we drain. If preferred, we can sweeten our tea with one tablespoon of honey.

One cup in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Good for the nervous system, with absolutely no side effects.

Eye beauty solution

Phase A’
1 cup of rosewater
2 tablespoons quince seeds
1 tablespoon liquorice (chopped)
Phase B’
1 teaspoon wheat germ oil

We place the quince seeds and the liquorice in the rosewater for one whole night. The next day we remove the seeds and the stick. We add the oil to the remaining gel and then mix well in a food processor.

With our fingertips, we spread on clean skin around the eyes using circular motion.

It hydrates, smoothies out the wrinkles, erases the lines and soothes the tired area of the eyes.

Mask with yogurt

The easiest recipe, recommended for all types of skin, made with just two ingredients. For summer sunburns and generally dry skin. It requires a tablespoon of full-fat yogurt at room temperature, and a tablespoon of honey heated so that the honey becomes liquid. We mix the two and spread them on our face; a quarter of an hour is enough. For very dry skin, double the quantity of honey, and for greasy skin, add some fresh lime to the mixture.

Honey mask

Wet a piece of cloth in warm water and put it on your face gently, in order to open your skin's pores. Spread some honey on your face for 15-20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water and then with cold, for the pores to close. You can repeat this therapy once a week.

Banana mask

to help with our wrinkles. Melt ¼ of a banana until it becomes soft as cream. Spread it over your face and leave it there for quarter of an hour. Rinse with water, warm followed by cold. Finally, wipe your face gently with a towel.

Mask with avocado and carrot

This mask combines avocado, rich in vitamin E, with carrots that have carotene and antioxidants. You will need 1 mashed avocado, 1 carrot, boiled until creamy, half a cup of cream, 1 scrambled egg and 3 tablespoons of honey. Spread over your face, as well as your neck for 10 minutes. A toner applied at the end will retain the shine, and get rid of the smell.

A home made  facial mask is a simple, quick and inexpensive way of rejuvenating and hydrating your face.
