Chanterelle

Also called girolle, an edible mushroom much prized in French cuisine, deep yellow in colour and shaped like the upturned horn of a trumpet, with wavy edges on a short stalk. Its aroma is reminiscent of the apricot and its flavour is mildly peppery.
