This is a very easy dish to make. Accompany it with mashed potatoes, or a simple basmati rice and the whole family will love it. In Arabic and Mediterranean cultures, food is almost always eaten in company surrounded by loved ones; this is a habit we support and wish to spread!

2 lb onions
9 oz raisins
3 oz pine nuts
1/2 cup honey
paprika
salt
2 garlic cloves

Slice the onions in julienne

Salt and paprika chicken. Brown in oil.
In another skillet, saute onions until clear.
Add raisins, cloves, and pine nuts; saute for a few more minutes.
Remove from heat and add the honey.
Adjust seasonings to taste.
Place chicken in baking dish, cover with mixture and bake for 1 hour or until nicely browned and tender.
