Bocconcini

Literally meaning "small mouthfuls" in Italian, bocconcini are small, semi-soft, rindless, white balls of fresh, spongy cheese, similar to mozzarella, but approximately the size of large cherry tomatoes. They originated in Napoli in Southern Italy, and are traditionally made from buffalo milk, although they are now often made using cow's milk or a mixture of both.
